Volunteer On Race Day

The Batavia Triathlon is made possible by over 100 volunteers on the day of the race. There are a number of activities that are conducted by volunteers:

• Pre-Race Activities: Body Marking, Timing Chip Distribution, Race Course Marking
• Guiding the participants along the entire course
• Staffing water/aid stations
• Setup and staffing for the post-race festivities

We can work with organizations to coordinate groups of volunteers, and we also appreciate the help of large numbers of individuals. To find about more about the various jobs that can be filled and to agree to help, please e-mail us anytime.

Downtown Businesses Create Spirit Signs

Batavia MainStreet is are also encouraging downtown businesses to create spirit signs to encourage all athletes or to support favorite participants. More information about this program will be available soon.
